Q1. What payment methods are supported by EventCAT?

EventCAT supports various payment methods through the global payment platform Stripe.


  • Major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
  • Bank and financial institution account-based payments
  • Cash App Pay


Payments are securely processed through Stripe's secure payment system. If you encounter issues with payments, especially when using cards that are often restricted for international transactions, please contact us at contact@eventcat.com.


Q2. How is the payment currency applied?

The default payment currency for EventCAT is US dollars (USD). However, at the time of actual payment, it may be automatically converted to the local currency, such as Korean won (KRW), based on Stripe's real-time exchange rates. The exchange rate applied will follow the rate provided by Stripe and the card issuer at the time of the transaction, and the final amount will be displayed on your card statement and receipt.


Q3. In what currency will receipts and invoices be issued?

The basic price listed on the website is based on USD, but the actual payment amount will be converted into the local currency (e.g., €) according to Stripe's exchange rate. The receipt and payment confirmation will show the payment currency, the exchange rate applied, and the final billing amount, automatically processed in accordance with Stripe's global payment policies.


Q4. Is it possible to transfer funds in a currency other than USD?

Yes, it is possible. If you wish to make a bank transfer in Euros, please contact us at contact@eventcat.com, and we will provide an invoice and remittance details for the specific currency.


Q5. Can a tax invoice or official invoice be issued?

If a tax invoice or official invoice is required by government agencies, educational institutions, conferences, etc., we can support that. Please request the necessary documents by contacting us at contact@eventcat.com.


Q6. How is payment security ensured?

All payments are encrypted and securely processed in accordance with Stripe’s global security standards (PCI DSS compliant). EventCAT does not store payment information directly, and we do not have access to customers' payment details.
