We are excited to announce that our "Sync from URL" feature now supports Dropbox and Google Drive links, in addition to previously supported YouTube links! (Note: you also can upload subtitle files with Dropbox or Google Drive links in Translate & Dub tasks.)

Please note that there is a 6 GB limit on the maximum file size.

Follow these steps to generate a shareable link from Google Drive and use it in MediaCAT:

1. Open Google Drive and select the file or folder you want to share.

2. Right-click the item and choose "Get shareable link".

3. In the "Link sharing" dialog, set the permissions to "Anyone with the link" and select either "Viewer" or "Commenter".

4. Copy the link by clicking the "Copy link" button.

5. Paste the copied link into MediaCAT's "From URL" input.
