With the new update on MediaCAT, you now have more control over downloading subtitle output files. You can download multiple files at once by clicking the "Download" button located in the top right corner of Sync and Translate tasks.
The modal that opens allows you to select up to three options:
1. Choose the format of the output subtitle file. The system will remember your last selection, so you won't have to constantly select your preferred format.
2. Shift the start timecode of the output subtitles. This option is useful for synchronizing subtitles when your media file contains a burnt-in timecode.
3. Toggle speaker information in the output subtitles. When you create a Sync task, the system will distinguish and assume speaker information(e.g., gender and age) from the media file. (If there is too little information to assume, we only diarize speakers without assuming gender or age.) Then this will be included in the subtitle if you enable this option. Check out our blog post to see how it works.
