Bulk Assignment for Projects

We are pleased to announce a new feature in MediaCAT: Bulk Assignment. This enhancement allows you to select multiple projects from your project list and assign tasks to workers based on source and target languages. With Bulk Assignment, you can efficiently manage multiple projects and assign tasks to peers across various languages simultaneously, streamlining your workflow and saving valuable time.

Bulk Assign feature has been added to increase the efficiency of project managers by allowing them to mass assign resources from the project list without having to enter the individual project detail. Here is how you can utilize newly introduced Bulk Assign feature:

Select Projects

From the project list, select the projects you wish to assign resources to and click the ‘Assign Resources’ icon to start assigning resources.

Assign Resources

When you click on the ‘Assign Resources’ icon, you will enter the bulk assigning modal. Here, you can select the language and start assigning resources by searching for them. When you are finished selecting resources, click ‘Assign’ at the bottom right corner.

Preview Assignment

The Bulk Assigning modal will give you a chance to review how resources will be assigned throughout the project. Here, you can double check if the right resources have been selected for the right project and language. When you are done reviewing, click ‘Confirm’ at the bottom right corner. When you click ‘Confirm’, assignment notifications to all assignees will be sent via email and you can see that assignees have been allocated to the projects.
